VIET NAM Electricity Needs Aiming at Being Met

At a time of Global Financial Crisis this looks at positive developments being created by hydrocarbon exploitation. The electrical energy needs of a so called third world nation being served by current ongoing operations. To provoke thought amidst the West's doom and gloom predictions and to remind the West that some of the world's population are "over here" - dust off your old school atlas and have a look where!!(冒頭引用注3)

Geothermal, not nuclear power, Binay advises

The looming power crisis is not an excuse to reopen the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) or consider nuclear energy, Makati Mayor and United Opposition (UNO) president Jejomar C. Binay said yesterday. Instead of nuclear power, government should explore geothermal energy, since the Philippines has the second highest geothermal capacity in the world at the moment, Binay said in a statement.
