50% cheaper LNG may save $750 mn in FY10

NEW DELHI: It’s not just a lower oil import bill that energy guzzlers like India and China are cheering about. Global prices of natural gas, which is increasingly replacing liquid fuel, have fallen by more than 50% over the last six months, leading to huge foreign exchange savings on imports.
