●CDWP sends Diamer Bhasha Dam project to ECNEC

The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) of the Planning Commission has recommended Diamer Basha Dam Project for approval to the ECNEC. Diamer Basha Dam is the largest project ever constructed in the country. After commissioning of Tarbela Dam in 1976, no large water storage project has been developed in Pakistan.
