●CNPC gets $30b to fund acquisitions

China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), the country's largest oil and gas producer, said yesterday it had received a $30 billion loan to finance its overseas expansion as the company accelerated oil assets acquisitions this year. Under an agreement with China Development Bank (CDB), the loan will be provided over five years at a discounted interest rate, CNPC said in a statement.
